Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Tasman Holiday Parks - Cairns Cool Waters, I was pleasantly surprised by how well it blended relaxation and adventure. The open-plan cabin was perfect for our little group, featuring a cozy separate bedroom with a double bed and air conditioning—ideal after a long day of exploring. We spent lovely evenings on the undercover deck, sipping coffee and enjoying the lush tropical views, which reminded me of home back in Edinburgh. The location was fantastic, just a short drive from Cairns yet surrounded by beautiful gardens and the soothing sounds of the freshwater creek nearby. Plus, with plenty of family-friendly activities at hand, we found the park to be a wonderful base for our adventures, whether it was lazing by the pool or embarking on nearby tours to get up close with the fascinating marine life. As a marine biologist, I appreciated the proximity to places like the aquarium dedicated to the unique tropical species of North Queensland. All in all, it was a great combination of value and experience in this hidden gem!
